What is CCTV?
CCTV (closed-circuit television) is a TV system in which signals are not publicly distributed but are monitored, primarily for surveillance and security purposes. CCTV relies on strategic placement of cameras, and observation of the camera’s input on monitors somewhere.

The Pelco DX8000 is a Digital Video Recorder. It has 16-CH and 500 GB storage and comes with a built-in CD-RW drive. The DVR has advanced search capabilities and multiple displays while recording. The DX8000 also supports 5 simultaneous clients, and comes with security and lockdown protection.

The ADTVR is an embedded DVR that is an excellent choice for banking, transportation, government, and retail. It can simultaneously play up to 8 cameras from a local interface. The ADTVR has advanced H.264 video compression and is also available for both NTSC and PAL regions. The product has multi-zone motion detection and emails an image when the alarm rings.

This product is an embedded hybrid DVR that records up to 5 megapixels. It uses less than 45 Watts power consumption, has 16ch synchronous playback and supports up to 1920 x 1080p resolution.
The SNC-HM662 IP network camera provides an uninterrupted 360-degree hemispheric field of view. It’s an ideal ‘overview camera’ solution for keeping a watchful eye over a wide range of indoor and outdoor environments – from lobbies, waiting rooms and retail spaces to car parks, campuses and commercial buildings.
While ordinary fisheye lenses are commonly used for 360-degree wide-angle coverage, image quality is seriously degraded at the edge of the picture. The SNC-HM662 takes a radically different approach, using a unique panomorph lens by ImmerVision to capture a true hemispherical view with no blind spots. Video footage from the 5 megapixels sensor is crisp and clear right to the edge of the picture, with a frame-rate up to 13fps.
The resulting 360-degree image can be automatically ‘dewarped’ to give a clear, undistorted view via Sony’s web browser client or a VMS (video management software) client application. Electronic pan/tilt/zoom (ePTZ) allows quick navigation to any part of the camera’s field of view for a closer look.
The SNC-XM631 minidome IP camera is suited to a wide range of indoor security and surveillance environments, from banks and retail spaces to schools and colleges.
